Stay for a while
Our two-story house offers a unique 70's vibe that's sure to transport you to a bygone era of groovy style and laid-back living. With a capacity to sleep 10 guests, it's the perfect getaway for anyone seeking a creative space and a nostalgic escape.
Rooms and spaces
There are three bedrooms to spread yourselves into.
The master bedroom is upstairs, has a double bed with cupboards, a vanity and direct access to the balcony and lake view.
The second bedroom (the wild retro wallpaper) has a single bed and a single bunk bed (3 singles) with a full size mirror and wardrobe.
The final bedroom is a “marae style” large room downstairs with 6 single beds and a queen. Get cosy with your buddies or convert into a recording booth.
The lounge area is a big open plan connecting to the dinning room and kitchen with breezy flow to the deck and outdoor dining area. Loaded with furniture from the 70’s (and a couple other bits and bobs) and floor to ceiling windows looking out over the lake. Set up your master creative space here!
The dining area is small and quaint with an extendible cottage core dining table and chair set.
The kitchen, heavily stuck in the 70’s, is a cozy cooking area with a partial island with all the basics covered.
The upstairs balcony and outdoor dining area has the potential for that group decompression space after a long day of writing and recording. Theres a table and chair set for your dinner parties or a snack time in the sun, and a sunbathing bed to soak it in on.
The lake front is the star of the show. All of the waters edge along the way is public reserve and available to swim, relax, gather wave samples and film your acoustic live session.
The downstairs area is mostly used as a mud room where we keep all the toys and play things. Theres kayaks and life jackets, balls and rackets for you to enjoy… safely.
There are two washing areas, one upstairs with a bath, toilet and basin and a second downstairs with a toilet and shower in seperate rooms.
The washhouse is downstairs with a deep sink, washing machine and dryer and a washing line out on the lake side for the picturesque laundry day.
